Root Moving on from "dead" rom

Newbie
I've been running aospcmod rom on my Optimus V since I got it, but I've been advised to move on, beings as the rom is "dead". That and the bluetooth still doesn't work. I was given a list from a very helpful person, including BACKside, CM7.1.0-BobZ, IHO-Purity (100% Pure Build), CM7.1-IHO-MiRaGe, Harmonia_2b1 and IHO-Purity-X (Xionia kernel). Unfortunately I have to idea as where to start . I really like the aospcmod I've been running (other than no bt). Can someone please take a moment to suggest which one I should try? Thanks so much for your time. :D

I've used harmonia and bumblebee.

I've found bumblebee to be my favorite. It runs smoothly, has great battery life, has a built in fix for TWS bug, and is very fast. Love it.

It depends what you want out of a ROM. Do you want the latest and greatest or slim and tried and true. Latest and greatest I would suggest backside or bobzhome. don't forget to read before you delve into it.
