Help Moving photos and CDs

Dryasanne

Newbie
This one is very tricky, mostly because I dont own an PC, just a Macbook Pro:

a) How do I copy CDs from my portable USB cd-player to the walkman section in Xperia Z ?

b) How do I copy all my photos on my Ipad 3 -- approx 4thousand - to my Xperia Z.

---- NB these 4thousand are sorted in Albums, one album for each of my trips to Europe.

I have tried the Sony software, it copied only the 156 photos in the Camera album of the Ipad 3 :)

The best way to do this will be to copy the music to iTunes and the photos to iPhoto, then using the Sony bridge software, copy what you want to the Z.

I have the same setup and it worked just fine.

Thats why I am posting - thats why I said this is tricky.

The Sony bridge does not copy all the photos! It only copies the few in my Ipad Camera Album.

The 2750 photos remaining, is not copyed ;)

So this bridge sw is far from Itunes, which inded syncs/ copy every photos, as we know.

Create a Dropbox account, install the Dropbox apps on your iPad and Xperia, then copying everything you need from one to the other that way?

Mmmmm ;)

I have had Dropbox on all my devices for several years, I am very familiar with that one.

But to copy Iphoto Photo Library with all my 237 albums ( like london 2011 with 24 photos, Kew 2012 with 98 photos)

--- well, I must pass, I havent figured how to fix that - even with my jailbroken iPad ...l,

Just brilliant!!

You tip of Dropbox was just perfect!

Photosync from Appstore did the trick initially- a simple app that does the job - it copies my albums right to Dropbox from my Ipad 3 !!

So, on my Sony Xperia Z - there they were all of my photos in a seperate folders! Hurrah!

The next step - just as magic, On my Ipad 3 I opened gooogle play and downloaded Folder Downloader. And in a second my Xperia gave some sound, Folder D downloaded!

Using that android app, I could d/l my photoalbums to a folder of my like on xperia!

Just magic, no usb cable, just wifi, and all the apps I have mentioned were really fast!

The Sony photo album didnt really give me enough control of my large Photo Library, so I gave Fish Bowl a try. Well, usable, but eventually I settled for Quick Pic.

Looks like most of my problems are solved -
Will we one day see a android app that copies albums directly from iOS devices right into android apps like Quick Pic ;)
