Moving screen view from Email inbox to trash

Hi
To move from Inbox to Trash involves touching on 'inbox', then 'show all folders', then 'trash'.
Does anyone know how to make this a two step rather than three step process?

when you open GMAIL on your phone, you should see the 5 icons at the bottom
new message, search, labels, refresh, and menu.

simply hit labels then trash.
2 touch process

unless your gmail is different from mine

Thanks mate but I'm talking about a POP3 account which is set up with the stock software. Looks different to gmail.
