Moving SD Card into Note 3

If i put my SD card from my Note 3 straight into my Note 3 will it pick up all the data on it or do i have to format it whilst its inside the Note 3?

I moved my SD card straight from my LTEvo to the Note 3. Music, movies, tones/alarms/notifications worked exactly as I expected. I didn't care about much else though, so YMMV.

There is no need to format your microSD card when moving it from another android phone.
