Moving to a Diff Carrier

For reasons me and my wife finally wanna get a smartphone but want unlimited data which AT&T no longer provides. Along with 2 In-laws for a family plan.

Any recommendations which is better for a family plan/data/text wise?

LTE/HSPA/Wi-Max?

4 lines total. 2 w/ data 2 w/o data....

Oh yeah. Motoblur / Sense / Touchwiz / or LG what ever u call it for platforms?

I seem to not get a reply or might have been to soon. I guess I'll just go with Verizon and its Dinc2 even though its not 4g. No reviews has persuaded me just yet to go with Thunderbolt cause of the 4g connection problems. Lest it goes down in price on amazonwireless again to maybe $99 this time.

LoL! I'll have to see the specs on a on hand review first and hopefully by the end of the month. If not, Dinc2 or TB.

Define exactly what you mean by "better". It's a highly subjective word. What criteria do you have? If pricing's a top concern the carrier web sites have that info for you to compare.

You should always consider the carrier based on real world coverage (not maps) first.

Personal preference. You need to try out the options.

Thanks for this reply. As far as platform is concerned. I'm just getting pushed on the direction of HTC Sense more than any other as preference goes moto is 2nd and touchwiz 3rd or 4th to a stock. I will have to go to stores of different carriers to mess around with their devices. Thanks again.

Based on carrier alone, knowing price is a factor... Sprint FTW, T-mobile is not an option in my mind because I find data throttling unacceptable....

I still say I wouldn't do anything 'till September when the Gem of Cupertino drops, no doubt on AT&T, I'm doubting a CDMA chipset from launch but who knows...
