Mp3 as alarm tone?

Is there anyway to get a song or something else as the alarm wake up call? don't like the ones it came with.

what kind of device?

When selecting my alarm ring tone I just go into ring extended then I can browse to all my music in my phone and use any song I want.
I am also using the default alarm app from my phone.

I suggest you enter your device name in your profile. It will help others answering your questions faster.

just create a folder called alarms on your sdcard and put the MP3 in there.....

make sure its all lower case and you might need to reboot

Case and location shouldn't matter (unless it depends on the device). My alarms folder has the a capitalized.

yes its different on different devices..... most require lowercase that Ive seen...... and some even require the alarms folder to be inside another folder labeled media

sdcard/media/alarms
