Help MP3 from bluetooth, how to use like a ringtone

Doom Doom

Lurker
I just got this phone and would like to make one mp3 song as a ringtone, but I can't find the option USE or something similar to do that.
I've got that file via bluetooth .
Can you help me please.

1. I transfered a couple of ringtones on to my Mini via Bluetooth.

2. I moved them to my 'Music' folder. I don't remember if the Music folder was a default folder in 'My Files', or if I created the Music folder.

3. Open your 'Music' app.

4. Find the Ringtone you want to use and press 'Play'.

5. While it is playing, press the 'Menu' button on the bottom left .

6. On pop-up Menu, press 'Select as Ringtone'.

When I play a song or ringtone from the Music folder itself, not using the Music app, and press the Menu button, the pop-up menu with 'Select as Ringtone' does not appear?

move your songs to a folder ringtones (create new) in SD card
go to settings sounds, select phone ringtone, and select it from there
