MP3 Player

Hi. I want to install the most simplest MP3 music player on to my Samsung Galaxy S3.

I have a certain folder on my memory card "Music", where I have about 15GB of music stored.

I want the player to display the album art for each track/album, and give me any other information about the current playing track (time in/left and so on).
I'm sure that there are a big load of FREEWARE and paid programs available on the Android Market Place. I need a little push of what program to use.

What is your most popular MP3 player software?

I need the software to use as minimum battery resource as possible. I want to use my phone as an MP3 player while in gym.
"What about your battery?" you might ask; I just ordered 3 Samsung batteries. I could take 2 or all 3 with me, just in case one dies.
But finding the most simplest *.*mp3 player, seems to be simple enough task, but I'm having troubles with it for some reasons.

Thank you a lot folks.

I use PowerAmp. I'm really happy with it. Battery friendly, easy to use, lots of options like automatic download of album art, and the support by the developer is also very good.

THANK YOU!! This is not a trial software or anything, is it??

I also use Poweramp and am also happy with it. Except for the lack of support for the "Album artist" tag. Now you may have no need/use for/knowledge of the AA tag but that's one thing that irritates me. I see you have a need/want for album art. I don't as I just like to listen but that's your thing.

What I'm trying to say is, a lot of players do what you want but they will ALL have some failing(s). I would try several and figure out which one best fits your needs from the standpoint of 'least amount of things it hasn't got'. Does that make sense?

I'm using WinAmp, it integrates well with the PC version (If you use Windows), there's a free version, but the paid-for is not a lot, and gives you a decent 10 band EQ and some other features I haven't used.

Jetaudio is my player if choice... Does what you're looking for and has very nice high-speed playback for audio books and podcasts

Check out Zimly player.

Edit: I much preferred the old version.

If you want a folder based app try andLess, it even plays FLAC

Guys, thank you a lot. I installed this "Poweramp". But this is a trial?? Is the full version worth it? Under $5... I think I should by it...

Yes it is trial. I wouldn't call it a 'simple' player, but it does have a nice UI.

There are a ton of free players on google play each with their own styles & +/- points.

How much does the full version cost?? What are all positives in the paid version? How long do I have this trial for??

The trial is 15 days i think and the full version is exactly the same.
PowerAmp was actually the first app i payed for.
Great app and youll own it forever. Ive had it on about 5 devices now.
Not sure if id call it simple.. i suppose it is but it has a LOT of settings if you need them.
You can also download free themes to change how it looks :)

Hi folks. Thank You for your help. I purchased it few hours ago; I hope I'll be happy. Thanx

P.S. My first purchase EVER from Google.
