Help MP3 Ringtone issue

Anybody have issues with setting MP3s as ringtones. I can get it to work with on my EVO and my sisters Epic just fine, but I am having issues with this phone.

I can play the MP3 just fine, but when I try to make it a ring tone it plays all funky, kind of like it has copy protection on it.

Mine play fine. Could it be the mp3 your using?

I tried it again and it worked this time. Its just wierd the first couple of times I shrunk down the MP3 it acted all funny. Oh well.

have you tried o ther app's like tonepicker, rather using Music and long hold.
