hi i got a virus on my android and i dont know how to get rid of it i was downloading an application and it stopped working could you help me on this please

Do you mean you are unable to download anything or you got a virus when you downloaded something? Try downloading Avast - this should be able to sort you out.

Sorry to hear that your device is not working. Personally, I believe what had happened is that you might have installed a corrupt or incompatible application on to the device. If you haven't yet removed the battery - try doing it now.

If you can't find the application, then you may need to "reset" the device - this will get rid of any corrupt application(s) on the device.

Also, make sure to check with the other folks over @your device's area of support - interacting with other uses of your device is always a good thing to do.
