MS Word App Font Question

Hi guys! Need help!

I'm using the MS Word app on galaxy s8 plus. The problem is, when I try to select/change a font in my Word document, I am only shown a selection of like 6 fonts. There was one time when all the rest of the fonts popped up in the list, with the little icon on the side of each showing that they are in the cloud, to click the icon to download the font. But I exited Word and upon reentry, it's gone again.

How do I get the full font list back? I checked the settings, but can't seem to figure it out. Thanks guys!
 
Are you signed out of your MS account? You can still use the apps when signed out, but you won't have access to the cloud. See if you can open up OneDrive.
 
I have a Chinese Phone that I use for testing with an anonymous account so my personal stuff doesn't get mixed in. I just installed word and didn't sign in. Opened a blank document, typed a few characters and then tried to change the font.

Surprisingly, I had access to all the cloud fonts.

Are you using mobile data or wifi? I'm trying to think why you, logged into a MS account, wouldn't see them.

I use mobile data. I've no idea why it doesn't show. It did show once, but then reverted back. Thanks!
 
I saw something there about font groups, but didn't delve too deeply into the settings. Is there something in the app to disable the "all" group?

Before we make it too complex, try restarting your phone. Then open a blank word document and see if the fonts come back, just to be sure it wasn't a glitch.
 
I did the 'reset' in the Word app settings. That made the fonts appear again. Hope they don't disappear again. The cloud icon still shows beside some of the fonts, but if I select a font with the icon, it disappears. I thought maybe it downloads it, but it disappears right away. Whatever. If it works, it's fine. If the fonts disappear again, well, I can always install another word processing app. Mostly use it for poetry and writing anyway.
