Root MS323 No boot, no download mode

Lurker
I was trying to revert my MS323 to use download mode instead of fastboot mode and I seem to have bricked it. When I try to turn it on it vibrates once and will not boot. When plugged into the computer it reads as an external HD with 2 folders: image and verinfo. My ultimate goal is to reset the thing to stock interface, please help, and thank you in advance.

So I realized the problem is that I accidentally flash through fastboot an incompatible .img file (because I'm stupid and don't read things). I still don't know how to find my way out of this mess, though.

What do you mean? When I plug it in it just detects as a removable storage, is there somewhere else I should be looking for these? Either way, it looks like this guide is going to help me though, thank you.

Update: I don't think that guide applies to the problem I have. When I get to the step where you type ls /dev/sd* I only get entries with the sda prefix (neither sdb or sdc), so I think that's for a different issue.
