Sorry it looked as if you was about to say you had a way to do. Someone told me that it was unlocked come to find out its not you have to pay to unlock . some try Blowfish unlock . you can try anyone you like eBay has some unlock codes . I say try them cause if it Dont work a refund is coming back . or feel free to try these gys

Someone told me that it was unlocked come to find out its not you have to pay to unlock . some try Blowfish unlock . you can try anyone you like eBay has some unlock codes . I say try them cause if it Dont work a refund is coming back . or feel free to try these gys

Just got this exact phone (METRO PCS/MS500) yesterday & thought I'd be able to pop in my T-MOBILE SIM Card & be up & running.
Kinda surprised that it was locked to METRO only,as MPCS is a part of T-MO.
Anyhoo,I spent all of $2.99 for an unlock code from MasterUnlockCode.com & received a code within minutes.
Easy-peezy,unlocked about 5 minutes later........

Just went back & read the OP again:
As far as this phone working outside of the U.S.,YMWV depending on the frequencies available.You should be able to get voice just about anywhere.Data is where YMWV.
As for WI-FI Calling outside of the US,I wouldn't bet on it,just came across a post where someone was having difficulties making WI-FI calls,but,had no problem receiving them.
