MT4G Shines

Last night at a gathering with some friends, my friends asked to play with my new MT4G. Then we all download Speedtest.net from Market to check the speed. There was an G2, two Nexus One, and Samsung Behold on virgin mobile.

I constantly got over 4.x mbps. G2 was about around 3.x mbps. Nexus one was about 1.x mbps. Samsung behold on virgin mobile got 2xx kbps.

My friends were all complementing how beautiful the MT4G finished and HTC sense. The one friend who has a G2 wants to sell his on ebay and get a MT4G too.
 
I did that too except my friends had the evo and droid x they were impressed but bragged about their better battery life oh well lol
 
None of the smart phone out there these days have great battery life. That's just fact. I think Evo has the worst because of the big screen. However, unlike iphone, we can swap out a new battery anytime we want.
 
We all have our preference. For me, coming from stock Android on Nexus One, HTC Sense is like driving a luxury car =)
 
I did the same thing with my 2 of my friends, looked something like this with speed test app

mytouch 4g = 8.1mbs
droid incredible = 1.9mbs
iphone 4 = 1.2mbs

we were in phx, i was super inpressed with the speed this thing is able to get I love it!

have you tried it late at night, our test was around 2am haha but network traffic was low so I was getting great speeds, during the day I usually never see better than 4mbs either.
 
Nice post :). I think Sense is the most universally liked Skin. I've never had another HTC device besides the MT4G, so I don't know how this "MySense" skin differs from other Sense devices. Can anyone shed some light on that? I played around on a G2 & thought it was pretty boring. I guess I like pizazz lol. The ONLY thing I could do w/o is all the bloatware. I don't play any of the games that came on the phone, & I don't really use any of the apps that came w/ it either. I'd like the choice to download them if I wanted them, or even have the ability to hide the launcher icons like Blackberry can do.
 
Mysense vs sense

I think honestly while it's the same overall, Sense has a more attractive look and is more cartoony vs the bland bubbly look of mysense

I like sense though

lmao it's not even evo owners, its mainly ALL android users with a high end android phone who is like this

Ooh, I have a droid...it's so much more powerful...especially since i'm backed by Verizon :)
