MT4G with GOOD SCREEN vs. Super AMOLED

I determined that the display model and the model one of the customer service reps has both have bad screens.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, click here:
myTouch 4G - good screen vs. bad screen (Taiwan vs. China) - T-Mobile MyTouch 4G - Android Forums - HTC Community

I just switched to T-Mobile and have the Galaxy S 4G, but I'm still considering the MyTouch 4G. I really can't compare displays until I can compare a MyTouch with a good screen. The good ones are Sony Super LCD.

Does the 14.4 Mbps vs. 21 Mbps even matter?

So the good ones are Super LCD, but on the HTC website it says TFT LCD?

I thought it was just two different makers of TFT LCD's?

As far as the speed goes, that depends on your location. So far 7.2Mbps vs 14.4Mbps have not mattered for me in Houston. I do a side-by-side Speedtest.net run and my Nexus S and wife's myTouch 4G get about the same result, neither have ever gotten over 5Mbps.

The ones with good screens are way more clear and crisp than TFT displays on phones like the HTC EVO 4G. This makes me think they are indeed Super LCD. Some sites listed Super LCD under their spec sheets. It's no Super AMOLED, and the blacks in the menus still look a tad washed-out when compared; but not nearly as much as the display on the EVO. Compared, the Super AMOLED display is still superior; but when you don't have a Super AMOLED display to compare it to, the MT4G good display has very good clarity.

I've got a Captivate and an HTC Glacier with the good screen. What I would tell you is, other than a direct side by side comparison it's hard to tell the difference. When you put them side by side, the screen on the Captivate is much better, however again, you'll only notice it side by side. I like my Glacier MUCH more than the Captivate.
