Hello All,
This is driving me insane.
As many ppl I am having problems connecting my Galaxy S2 to my pc. I can sync via mass storage USB, BUT cannot sync to KIES nor see the phone in explorer.
I keep getting the following error message under "device manager" when trying to install the MTP driver (the other 2 drivers seem fine):
"THE DEPENDENCY SERVICE OR GROUP FAILED TO START".
The message states, "Windows found driver software for your software, but encountered an error while trying to install it".
Can anyone please help me fix this? I've tried all sorts of things from:
(a) completely uninstalling KIES together with cleaning the registry and reinstalling it
(b) using mini Kies instead
(c) I'm using GO Launcher EX and have tried going back to the original launcher
