MTP Driver re-install?

I cannot get my computer to identify my Samsung Galaxy to transfer photos to the PC. I get the error message "MTP Device has a driver problem, re-install." And yet when I attempt to do this on the internet I get another message the DEVICE Cannot start code10??? Can anyone help me with this issue before a hammer and the phone meet!!!:D

Not familiar with syncing samsung phones, perhaps seek out the section for your phone and see if any others have had this same issue?
