Help Muffled Audio When Recording Video

When I try to record Video on my Atrix I get very faint muffled audio. I've read that other people have had great audio quality is on the Atrix video, so I'm guessing that I'm missing an important setting somewhere, but I'm really not sure what is wrong. What could make the audio on my recorded video so faint that I can barely hear it, even with my volume turned up to the max on playback. My volume on phone calls and Tango seems to be fine, so I know that my mic works. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.
