Mugen Extended battery

I am currently using the LG/Verizon extended battery (3200MAH).This battery works ok but I was wanting a tad more battery life, so I ordered the Mugen 4000 MAH extended battery. I was a bit worried about the battery not fitting my case and beltclip holder from verizon. I was pleasantly surprised when the battery came, its the same size as the lg/vz battery I'm currently using. So my case fits the same. I have the Mugen battery on the charger now and I'm going to put it through its paces to see if it's worth the money. I've used their batteries on other phones with good results. So this one should deliver.

I'm still on stock battery.....Get about 4 hours on LTE with moderate use

I have similar set up - Mugen Batt with OEM extended door. I could not be happier with best of both worlds :-)

4hours is terrible battery life there. How do you have your phone set up? what settings do you have selected?

I would consider myself a heavy user, while I might just be browsing the web or using facebook my screen is on constantly.

okay that makes sense then. I don't really constantly use mine for browsing but streaming iheartradio kills the battery in like 4 hours also.

I stream iheartradio for hours and never see much of a dent in the battery life. weird.

damn I'm jealous. it's not like there's much to change as far as settings go either. it makes no difference for me if I'm listening to am or fm. Are you listening to a local station, or one which is somewhat close to where are? Im just amazed by this and want to figure out why. lol

Also I was looking around for batteries tonite, and found an OEM for $16, generic brand for $12. I personally dont care for the extended battery case so think I may have order a few extras.

This is with a couple of hours with hot spot usage. The 4000 mAh battery seems to also function better on lower end, at lower remaining powers seems to hold on longer.

I'm more interested in the back cover than the battery, I already have a nice larger battery. Just couldn't justify paying $90 for the only other one out at the time.

Well after having the 4000mah battery for a few days,I can tell a difference compared to the 3200mah lg battery. it's not tremendous but it is better. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.
