For those that dont know. "mugen" is the #1 brand in third party batteries.

They dont need calibration and work as it should as soon as you put it in your phone(unlike those other no name extended batteries). their batteries usually cost top dollar ($100). But with With mugen, what you see is exactly what you get. a true 3600 mah battery!!

I cant wait!

the phone is fine for everyday use with the battery unless your the type that uses the phone for videos and streaming music for 22 hours a day then no battery can do what you want

Yea i use my phone moderately. I currently have the "so called 3500mah"(black and white color). While im texting with 0 programs running in the backround, I see my battery draining right before my eyes. I ordered the 3600 mah (red and yellow) last week. I hope that battery holds me down until mugen comes out with theirs.

@TechnoRaccoon: lol nah, i dont work for the company. But in my opinion "mugen" is the best third party extended battery you can buy. Their batteries dont give you weird errors such as ur guage dropping from 80% to 25% outta nowhere.

Im going to post review on here when the battery comes out.

I ordered
1
two of these and have been quite happy with them (ones in my wife's phone.....she can actually get through a couple days without charging). If I go without charging - it can get me about 10 to 12 hours with moderate use. Much better than the stock battery. If I go through a day lightly using the phone I've seen it last 16+ hours with still a good bit of juice left.

As it is I've ordered one for a friend and a back up (just in case I expect a heavy use day where I won't be able to charge.....which probably means I'll never need but it was only $10 extra).

I've always heard good things about Mugen, but I don't believe I'll be buying one of theirs any time soon (not to mention $100??? - meh I'd start thinking of a new phone)

I wrote an impressions over in one of the extended battery threads. On the days I was really monitoring it, it seem to be losing about 8 to 10% an hour. Since then some days have been much better (probably due to light usuage) and I don't think any have been significantly worse. I think it mostly depends on where I go and what the signal quality is like (ie on the days I was monitoring I was working in a office building that I suspect was making it difficult to get a signal depending on where I was in the building, plus some of the regular workers there mentioned how difficult it could be to get a signal).

And yes this is all with 4g on (not to mention WiFi, Bluetooth - whether connected or not, and GPS - although that only counts if an app is using it).

By the way I define moderate use as short phone calls, surfing (ie checking email, facebook, other Internet apps) when I get a free moment or need to look something up, snapping the occasional pic (which get uploaded to G+ among other places) and listening to podcasts over a bluetooth earpiece for hours (not sure but if I did this solely it might cut the battery life to 6 to 8 hours, could be wrong just seems to be the heaviest drain I do). I don't really get into the streaming and watching videos so your mileage may vary.

Thanks for the detailed response. I see that this battery is definitely what i need.

my current so called "3500 mah battery" only last me 5 hours max. and thats with the baklight @ the lowest setting, bluetooth off, syncing off, gps off, no pandora, no streaming. what a waste.

I bought the 2800mah battery from battery bay the day they released it. For the most part I unplug it when I wake up and plug it back in when I go to bed. That is with fairly moderate usage. Gaming, messaging, internet. I have almost completely replaced my computer with this phone (some web browsing just easier to read on pc). I am considering buying a 3600 off of ebay but so far very happy with my 2800 battery

yeah bro i already have the 3600mah for thu indulge got it last week, works greet last me about 16 to 17 hrs with out charge. got it on amazon must get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question will it quick charge have we forgot about phones we had before this my moto droid charged fully in 30 mins

I have the 3600 from Amazon. It works just fine and is extremely cheap. The downside it it takes 1 month to receive. But I promise well worth the wait.

Guise, a link to the Amazon battery, or the guy/store's name, so others reading this thread can find it?
