Multi task button

I am having trouble with my S6's multi task button. Without pushing it I will have multiple windows pop up. This get very annoying and hardly allows for me to operate my phone. It's as if a ghost is pushing the button. This will occur when the phone is sitting still. Please help me

It,s not the physical button that pulls up those apps, its the capacative (non physical) button to its left. If you lightly touch this recent apps will open. Are you accidentally touching this?
icant think of anything else, unless the phone is fauly.
