just to follow on, have UN-ROOTED my device and got SE 2.1 with MT now

reason behind it, want to go back to basics so that the ARC is a huge improvement

I've only tried it on angry birds and photos and it works fine with pinch/zoom.

Anyone else either than me think the "Sony Engineer" who was magically able to make MT on the x10 was an Angry Engineer playing Angry Birds on his x10 and really wanted to pinch/zoom in it???
