Help Multilanguage keyboard.

Hi! I am new to this forums and to smartphones in general. I was thinking about getting a Samsung Galaxy S, and I have a rather important (to me) question about it. The thing is, I am intending to use Skype, and type in several languages (and mainly in the Cyrillic alphabet) with my friends.

Does Samsung incorporate multilanguage support, is it something managed by Android itself, or do I have to install some additional application?

Thanks, and sorry if this question is too stupid; I really want to be sure the Galaxy S will be the right choice for me and understand how Android works.

Cheers! :)

well if its in your firmware then you can change it, or you are out of luck.
You can also try gingerbread keyboard from the market.
I think its alot better. Also is very easy to change language even when you are typing.

I can't help you with the Cyrillic keyboard, but I have found that a long press on a letter in the Android keyboard will produce an array of accented characters for you to choose from. For example, if you long press on "a", you will be able to select

If your buy your phone from a country that uses Cyrillic, then yes the phone will automatically come with a Cyrillic keyboard. If you import one from another country, you can find free apps on the market that should serve the same purpose.
