Help Multiple GS3 Audio Problems

So I have had my galaxy s3 with at&t since late august and I have been experiencing a few audio problems. The first one is when I have music playing the audio sometimes just stops when I pause it, launch an app, etc. So then I go to change my media volume and it is fixed. But then when I turn my ringer off silent or vibrate I am free to adjust the media volume. My usual solution is restarting the device but this happens everyday. Another issue I've had is quite recent and ive only noticed it today. When I launch any app (other than google chrome) and music is playing through my headphones the music starts playing through the phones speaker. I would really appreciate a reply, thank you for your time.

are you Jelly Bean?

if so, i was having similar problems where the audio would route to the phone speakers even tho headphones were plugged in. but mine happened randomly between songs.

there was no fix for this. and i think i read somewhere that AT&T is aware of this bug or something.

since i'm rooted, i left AT&T Jelly Bean based TouchWiz ROMs to stop this from happening.
