Help MUltiple of problems plz help

hi everyone i've just got this htc oneX and i have some problems with it....
i cant connect it to my laptop (windows) when i connect it i get (usb connected ) in my notification bar but it only has connections options(usb networking setting) there is no storage and the other stuff

the second problem i am having i cant find the software update its not there in the (about)

the 3rd one is that i cant see the android version or htc sense version / the processor / memory / display) they are all written protected upon them when i open the software and hardware information from the about

1st of all, when you connect the phone to your computer, it will ask you how you want to connect and you have to select the option to 'mount as disk drive'. Alternatively, you can download HTC Sync which will sync your phone when you plug it in to the computer.

Secondly, you may already have the latest software version which is why there is no update. Hard to tell if you cant see what version you are already on.

Thirdly, I have no idea why the software and HTC sense versions are all protected. Hopefully someone else can help out with this one. Otherwise, give HTC a call and they may be able to help you.

Run it, let it do it's thing and let me know if [ro.product.model], [ro.product.name] & [ro.product.manufacturer] are HTC One X, endeavouru/evita & HTC respectively.
