Multiple Photo Albums on

Hi Heros

ok so in Albums (photos) we have the standard set of photo albums:

Camera Shots
All Photos
All Videos
Downloads.

How do I add a new album? For example how would I add "Holiday photos album" or "TV show Videos" to the list.

I can't find a way of doing it.

I just used ASTRO File Manager (very good app, btw) to create a new folder on the SD card. The Albums application just detected that extra folder and added it to the list of viewable albums. Of course, I added photos to it, also.

i tried that too but the phone didn't pick up the new album.

I placed the new folder with photos in it in the DCIM folder.. is that the correct way of doing it?

I put all of my personalized photo folders outside of the DCIM folder. So I created a folder called My Photos and it exists on the same "level" as the DCIM folder.

It then just appeared in the Albums list.

Oh its just started working... wouldn't work for ages.. but then if i clicked on a photo in the file manager and loaded it from there.. and went back to albums the file had been picked up. Weird.
