Multiple pictures issue

Greetings fellow Android users,

forgive me if this issue has been addressed, but I've been having this issue with my S7 ever since I bought it years ago.

It used to be If I wanted to send someone say, multiple photos, I could do so and the person would receive just one text with all of the photos. Now, if I send my wife ten photos of our daughter in one text message, my wife's phone will receive ten individual picture texts It drives me crazy!!

Please tell me there's a simple fix that I've missed.

what text messaging app are you using? have you tried to downsize the images? on my note 8 sometimes the pictures are too big in size i have to have it sent low resolution.

Hey thank you!

I'm using the text app that came with the phone. That's why I'm perplexed. I didn't have this issue with my s4 and my wife doesn't have this issue with her S8.

huh, have you tried in a lower setting. maybe even downsize the pictures you take on the phone.....not sure why all of a sudden. did the phone get an update?

You know, I'm not sure. I think I've had this problem for as long as I've had the s7
