Multiple SMS notification sounds

Everyone,

Been noticing a small glitch with this phone since I got it almost 2 months ago. I had it replaced once, and it has happens on both, but has been worse the past few days.

When I receive an SMS, the notification will sound. Sometimes, two or 3 times when only one message is received. Also, if I am typing a message to one person while another one is being received, it will sound as normal. Then when I back out the the SMS main screen, it will sound again.... sometimes a double.

Has anyone else noticed this? It is not a huge deal, but can be a bit misleading.

Yeah, I get the multiple notifications also. I guess it's another quirk of the phone. I've considered trying another messaging app to see if it changes, but haven't got around to it. Not as annoyng as getting a text message telling me I have no voicemals after I delete my voicemails. Maybe they'll fix these two issues on an update.

haha:D. at least your not alone in the gzone boat.
tonight i pulled my phone out of my pocket and the flashlight was on, burning away the battery. the worst part of it, was that i have a PIN to unlock the phone, so i couldn't have turned the light on accidentally in my pocket. i hope it's not the beginning of some wierd new bug...

overall i like the phone though, just have to learn to love the quirks i guess.
 
Glad I'm not the only one. Seems no matter the phone, they have a few issues. Hopefully an update will come down sometime to fix them.
 
Same here, this is a buggy phone.

I am on my second phone, my first one froze and never would wake up.

Both the old phone and new one would do this.

I really do like this phone but the bugs in it are really frustrating.
