Help Multiple system problems

Hi all

I'm not quite sure what to call this problem, or even how to identify it properly.

Thanks in advance for the forthcoming help!

1. Manufacturer - Samsung
2. Model - S6 Edge +
3. Software version - 6.0.1
4. Specifics of the problem -

• 'switch window' soft key not working (back soft key is fine)
• menu swipe down from top works, but the extend menu (further swipe down) doesn't
• Settings and expand buttons on the swipe from top menu don't work
• Notifications buzz, ping, etc but no notifications show on the top bar (they do show on home screen).
• Installing an on-screen button app does not solve the problem - the switch window button still not work
• I have tried hard reset, soft reset, everything but factory reset.
• Everything else works fine

5. Specify if the phone is rooted. If you don't know then it probably isn't - No

I'm not sure who your carrier is but this is a link for Samsung SmartSwitch. It can reinstall your phones firmware, if it's compatible. http://www.samsung.com/us/smart-switch/

Edit: I am confused.You performed a hard reset, which to me means factory reset. If you haven't done a factory reset try it first. This still might not fix the problem though.
