Help multitasking problem

If all the apps were running in the background, like you want it to, how long do you think the battery would last?

Maybe you've never used galaxy nexus, but apps reopen seamlessly in it and its battery life isn't too bad...

This isn't a problem with just the HTC One X, I had this problem on my HTC Desire, HTC Desire S, HTC Sensation and now the HTC One X.

It's either an Android problem or a HTC problem, I've only used vanilla ICS on my Motorola Xoom and while it still has this problem it's not as bad.

I doubt this will be fixed any time soon, it's more of an Android problem if you ask me.

Also I just called HTC and they said this is a known bug and they are working on a fix...so there goes your theory that they developed it this way on purpose to preserve battery life.

Sorry if i confuss you trying to get this new tablet figured out what I was trying to say was in order for the phoje to maximize the battery life. The apps do not continually refresh in the background. This inturns means that when you re-launch an app via the multitasking option .It will then be prompted to refresh an updated that particular page.

I've installed update 1.29.401.11 and it looks like the problem is solved.
I will give it few more days in order to be sure as problem was not constant.
