Help Multitasking

Can I do multitasking with my tablet ?
Example : can I open one app, "minimize" it, then open next app and toggle between the 2?
 
Open the app. Press Home. Open the next app. Long-press Home to go back to the first app. (You'll get a list of open apps.)

I apologize.
I was thinking of a house that has an open door and chimney. The one Internet Explorer users use to see.

I do find the "home" icon.
You instructions are correct until the "long press" step.
In my tablet, there is an icon that looks like 2 rectangles, one in front of the other. Tap at it will show me a list of the previous apps opened.
Thank you for showing me the way.
