Multithread and Activity restore problem

Hi,
i have an app that make some REST multithread request.
But i have two problem.
1) when i rotate the device, if there is a pending request, app crash.
2) there is a logic that thread can be stopped before rotation and restore after rotation?

There is a framework that resolve this problem?
