After the update to the zmax pro my screen does not respond well to multi touch like my digitizer just crapped out on me I know it not a hardware problem because hours before update games did not glitch up to touch I have tried everything
Hard rest
Clear cache partition
Developer options
Factory reset
Nothing fix :( any device can help me recalibrate my screen or help fix some how :(

Could be 1-3 of 3 things causing the issue. 1. Bad touch screen which could also be a bad touch screen cable connection. 2. Bad software. Which could be firmware or even vga chip firmware for accelleration through the cpu/gpu. 3. Wash your hands after you get finished whackIng off. Touch screens do not operate properly when covered in semen. I just recently tried out a junk touchscreen repair app to recalibrate my touch screen. Not sure if it makes a difference.

Then it's settled... everyone with this phone has dirty hands.
Though I'd much rather believe a cheap touch screen is to blame and is effecting most, if not all, units.

Touch screen repair app? Think about that for a minute.... then microwave your phone to charge it.
It was an app to help with touchscreen calibration... I take it youve never dealt with bad calibration before... look up motorola rain drop. You might learn how a small thing like a dust spec can make your touch screen freak out. And surprisingly. I havent had an issue with mine since i ran it. It could be a fluke. But im happy with the results up till this point.

I used holo launcher to get to that menu. And yes. It is all screwed up. The built in calibration stays at the top left are on my device and wont ever center out. Thats why i tried a third party app to try and recalibrate it. Mine is still working fine since i did it. This what i used. Go ahead and give it a try and see if it helps you out. My games havent froze up with the joy sticks or buttons sticking or freaking out since i did it. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...pPj-_-Zs5JinDCApA&sig2=stlI6hS15QwgUQFgx-PcPQ

Is it possible the built in calibration software is broken? The third party software i used worked great. I still havent had issues like buttons or joysticks freezing up in my games. Or my keyboard screwing up when i type. Or even the random page clicking when scrolling through a webpage.

We have a hidden calibration menu (shortcut master lite search "calibrate") but it's gliched as hell and never centers for me (see ss below).

I want to try a higher resolution like UHD (4k). I did bring the LG Stylo to 1080p but it was glitchy.
Code:
adb shell wm size 3860x2160

Might have to change the DPI afterwards
Code:
adb shell wm density 540

To reset:
Code:
adb shell wm size reset
adb shell wm density 480

I'll play with it in a bit. Generally a lower resolution (720p) will give better performance... but I'm not a gamer.
What app is this how do you get to it

Mine is inside a case. The issue existed while inside my case at the beginning. I ran calibration on it and it hasnt happened since. I tend to deal with a ton of static from washing towela in my dryer and havent had that problem. Thats just insane whats going on with your test mate. That sounds really odd to me. I believe it though. Imma try scooting my feet on my carpet while playing blazblue and see what happens.

Ok. After extensive testing on b08. It would still freeze randomly. I updated to b14 and havent had any issues with my multi touch freezing during gaming and multi-tasking and such. Can anyone else confirm this test? Nvm. Still screws up under heavy cpu/gpu/ram usage.

Hmm. Almost never use multi touch but I tried it just now and pinch to zoom is not good. B14, screen is clean, not on charger, no case attached.

Im on b14 still have the issue while in my case.. multitouch works flawlessly outside of it or if its plugged into the charger.. there's a video on YouTube where this dude is saying its a flaw in the hardware being caused by static? Could be possible but idk...

I'm on b14 and having this issue also, at first thought it was from my case touching and putting pressure on the glass on the corners since the glass covers mostly everything, the case was a two part plastic that covered everything then the rubber over that, went to metro and they confirmed my case was a problem and had complaints and even tho I had just bought it they charged me full price for a different case that's a low profile silicone only case. This case works better but I found out laying the phone flat or level flat in my hand causes the multi touch to become unresponsive with more then 1 touch. Really hope this issue can be fixed because I love this phone otherwise but when the issue starts up games are just unplayable.. Best results I have are without any case and holding the phone gently and at a 45 or so angle.. Jumping through hoops to play a game sucks but it's all I have for now if i want to game.

That didn't work for me either ZTE really needs to fix this there is no temporary fix unless you keep your phone plugged in or always have your finger touch the fingerprint scanner try it out for yourself if you don't believe me

Im not going through all of that. If this is a permanently broken phone I'm taking it so I can get a replacement I tried sending back to ZTE headquarters which took me two weeks and the problem still is persisting they didn't fix anything and how flabbergasted I was a company that can't even repair there own phones is a big issue I plan to take up with them I'm not paying all my money's worth for a broken TOUCHSCREEN phone and a company that can't even properly repair the phone in the first place

Just hope it gets fixed it doesn't even feel like $50 smartphone without a working multi touch screen unbearable I can't zoom in and out of camera, web pages CANNOT play any games or apps that require a multi touch response this is not good at all

Still happens to me and I'm on latest (B14) update. Hopefully another update will come out this week or two the latest that is about as long as I can wait for a currently non fully functional phone until then I will try to build on this problem so ZTE knows more about and can react faster to what ever they have to do to fix this thing

Haven't tried this for the issue but I did stumble on it while searching for root exploits but give this a shot and tell me how it goes these are ZTE codes just go to your dialer and put these codes in to run tests

On B08 still. Would really like to not have to format phone to fix multi touch.

What's really funny is it already messed up on me when I tried voting for having multi touch issues and now I'm suddenly the 10% without the issue so disregard my vote I'm not lucky we're all on the same boat.
