Help Music always plays in same order when shuffled

Hi guys i was wondering if you could help me out here

My music always seems to shuffle in the exact same order. If im playing a song , and i hit shuffle, it will change the next song but every sone after that is in the same shuffle order.

it did this on my HD 2 and now on my Desire HD

since ive go the Desire HD ive done an upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3 but it didnt change anything

any help guys

It's probably a very simple algorithm used to calculate how the songs are shuffled. I don't know if it can be changed using the default player.

Have you tried something like poweramp to see if that makes a difference?
