Help Music bricked my LG Optimus V

I added music to my sd card and it bricked my phone. I thought it was the phone that was the problem (the music was checked for a virus - none) but after receiving a replacement from Best Buy the music froze my phone again but luckily I tood the sd card out before the new phone bricked again. Any ideas how this can happen? Thanks...

Bricked means that even after removing the battery and external memory cards, the phone will not boot up. Is that what happen with your phone? Or did it just lock up trying to play some music?
 
The phone did not boot up. Took it back to Best Buy and they replaced it. I don't have a clue what music caused this. I have the same music on many devices (none of them phones though).
 
Did you try to remove the battery and it still wouldn't boot?

Can't say I've seen or ever heard of playing some music doing that!

But I have seen phones not boot due to a bad external flash card. Once you remove the external flash, the phone would boot fine.
