Hi all , i was wondering if there was anyway of taking ,like a 10 second sample clip from a song i have on my htc one x ?

if you're using the native music player, it does have have a set ringtone option that essentially allows you to trim the song and set it as a phone or contact ringtone, if that's what you're trying to do. go to music/myphone/songs. there will be a horizontal 3-menu button on the right of the song title. press and you will see the choices. if i recall correctly, the clip as a separate clip should also remain accessible via the native player. i could be wrong, though, as i made only one ringtone and then i think i removed it from the player once it was in the ringtones file.
