Music controls?

Through Google search and searching here I can't find a way to skip to the next song without pulling the phone out of my pocket. I tried double tapping the talk button like I read in other articles and long pressing the volume keys like on the BB but nothing.

Am I just losing my ability to comprehend simple tasks like a double tap or can you not skip to the next song on the GN2 with the stock player and headphones

I thought I saw one that lets you use the volume up and down to change tracks. I can't seem to remember which app it was though.
