Help music pausing?

Just bought a new Volt last week and moved my 64gb SanDisk card from my old phone into it. The Volt seems to have no problem using the card for music, photos, videos, etc.

Have had no other problems with the phone or card yet.

However, yesterday I went on a long road trip and tried to hook the phone up to the car stereo for the first time. No matter what I tried, the music kept pausing itself automatically every 3-5 minutes. It was maddening! I tried both the built in Music app and Poweramp. I tried Bluetooth and a mini plug to the aux input. Turned off every option I could find for pausing on notifications it anything like that.

Any ideas? Running the stock zv5 though I've rooted and removed some of the bloat. The apps aren't crashing, just pausing.

Maybe it's your cord? There's times where I would plug my headphones into my phone and if I would bump it, they would pause my music.
Probably just a cheap built cord.

Thanks, I had considered that but since it was happening in Bluetooth too I figured it might be something else. Did some more aggressive debloating and adjusted low memory killer. Seems better now, though I haven't had as much time to test.
