Help music,photos nd videos not displaying

Im using a sony xperia s.nd im having this problem with it.i can view all my photos,audios nd videos on my phone..but the thing is tht wen i connect my phone to a pc by an USB cable and wen i go to view my photos nd audio on the pc in the internal storage,it dsnt display or show up except the other app folders.Can u plzz help m with this problem...

Mine did this before, annoying.
All i did was actually change USB socket.. turns out one is a tad temperamental.
if you really can't get it sorted, you can always use Dropbox to back everything up.
