Help Music playback

Am I the only one who thinks it's crazy that a digital solid state drive skips music playback like a 90's CD player? How is this in any way acceptable? I look online and there are hundreds of complaints over it, but Motorola hasn't done anything to fix it. And while we're at it, why does music playback only stop SOME of the time when I unplug headphones? I'm half ranting, and half asking for help. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be willing to try pretty much anything to make this work the way it's supposed to.

It isn't skipping like a CD player. It isn't skipping because of movement. It is skipping due to memory usage. I wish you could set the priority when using an app. Such as the music player. If you could set it to top priority then we wouldn't have these skipping issues. The music player takes memory to play. So when your phone uses that memory to do other things, skip skip skip skip. It is crap. I sold my iPod to use my phone as an MP3 in my truck because I could also take phone calls then go right back into my music. I am regretting that decision. I hope they come out with an update that fixes this. *fingers crossed*

Sucks that my old slow as hell phone had zero music issues and this with better hardware has this problem. Hell, I could read email, download apps, text, whatever and not a single hiccup...

Yeah, I didn't mean skipping as in "laser losing focus due to movement". I meant it in the way that the end result is still the same - your music stops for a hiccup and then restarts. My LG Ally (low end phone, not even sold anymore as far as I know) had NO issues playing music. I really wish Motorola would fix this crap. And I do understand the memory issue, but my phone does this even right after a battery pull, when almost nothing is running.
