Help Music player controls on lock screen?

Hey,
As above really - is there any way to control music player from the lock screen?
I use my S3 a lot for listening to music but it's so annoying the you have to unlock the phone to be able to skip a track.
On my old iphone I could double press the home button on the lock screen and access controls for music player - I am hoping the S3 may have a similar feature that I've not discovered yet!

You can use Widget Locker from the Play Store to add widgets to your lock screen. This will allow you for instance to add the Pandora Widget to the lock screen.

If you are using the Samsung headphones that came with the s3 you can jump to the next song using the small pause button beside volume control near the actual earphone. If you double click pause quickly it jumps to the next song. You can't go back the way though.

I'm using the phone with an external speaker connected via the 3.5mm port.
I'm really surprised that this doesn't come as a standard feature.

You could try a different music player. Player Pro has lockscreen controls, and I think a few others do too, PowerAmp, doubletwist.
