Music Player READING SD card

I just downloaded a music player for keeping the music I want to put on my phone organized. The problem: the music player doesn't seem to have an option for READING music that's on my phone's 16gig SD card.

Is there a way to change this, or a music player app that WILL read the SD card?

Just load up any free player to try. I like Black player.

If you have a lot of music, it sometimes takes a long time for the music player to read the music for the first time and to load up album art and artist info from the internet.

Rocket Player definitely plays music from the SD, that's what I usually use with a 128GB SD. It has to scan the SD for music first, which can take a while depending on how much music there is.

I've actually never met a music player that won't read the SD card. You are sure that there is nothing in its settings to tell it where your music folder is, or which drives to scan for music?

My devices have both PowerAmp and Neutron, and both work with both internal and removeable storage.

+1 on Poweramp

And with Poweramp you have to go into settings and tell it which folders on your internal storage or microSD card to use. It could be that your player also needs that to happen.
