Music player, seems to repeat the same few songs?

I use the Samsung music player because of Bluetooth streaming. I've used poweramp before but the displayed info on the car head unit isn't consistent that way.

Anyhow, I have about 450 songs on my phone. It seems like no matter what I only hear about the same 20 songs, and have to scroll through to find a more "random" one. Anyone else notice this? This phone is such a let down after a year.

Random includes the same song 20 times in a row. You don't want random, you want every song played, but not in the order they sit in storage. Totally different, and not done.

I think you need to select shuffle. I have two music players and neither say Samsung so not sure if they are different. One has a shuffle option, the other has shuffle all and party shuffle. I hardly ever get the same song in a hour or more of listening.
