Music Player with REW/FF non-slider

I just converted from my iPhone, where podcasts had a great feature where you could skip back 30 seconds of an audio file.

I only listen mp3 files that I download from the internet and then upload to my Incredible. They are all over 3 hours long, so using the slider is pointless. The slider basically goes in 3-5 minute increments, which makes it impossible to just skip back when I hear something funny or interesting.

Are there any music player apps with a 30 second skipback function? I know DoggCatcher has a feature where you can program the rew/ff button, but there's no way to import an mp3 file.

So I'm looking for an app (paid is fine) that will:

1) Allow me to import an mp3 file
2) Have some sort of 30-second skip back function
3) Very minor thing, but I would like an app that remembers where you left off with the last audio file. So if I listen to 90 minutes of a 180 minute audio file and go to another file, it will pick up where I left off when I go back to it.

Thanks!

I can't believe that there is not a music/media player APP for Android that has the ability to do the following: (AND I would Gladly PAY for one that did.)

1) Play the audio file MP3,WAV at speeds faster or slower (faster is more important) than the standard play speed. I used to own a device that allowed the user to select the playback speed/tempo from a list 1/2, 3/4, 1x, 1.25, 1.5, 1.6 (I could live with 1.25 and 1.5)

2) Has screen buttons (3 Each) for skipping Forward and Backward from the current point in the file. <<< = 3 Minutes Back. << = 1 Minute Back, < = 15 Seconds Back. AND > = 15 Seconds Forward, >> = 1 Min, >>> = 3 Min. (Or even a single button for each that had multi-click abilities ala Tivo)

3) Would automatically SAVE/Bookmark the point in the audio file when the app is closed or the audio is interupted by some other app or phone function.

I KNOW that I am not the only person in the world who primarily listens to podcasts/recorded radio/talk radio programs or audio books that would LOVE and PAY for an application that had these functions for my Android phone. If anyone knows of such an application please post the information here.

As RudeandRude stated the slider is useless on any audio file longer than 10 minutes and an app with these buttons and the playback speed selection would allow a user to listen to a 3 hour show in half that time.

I'm very sad to see no favorable responses to this need. I listen to podcasts, and desperately desire a 30 second skip/rewind feature. In this Tivo world, I'm shocked this doesn't exist.

As far as I remember, MixZing has this feature.

The excellent, free "MortPlayer Audio Books" doesn't have FF/RW but it has skip-forward and skip-back (10 seconds). It also has the ability to set "bookmarks", and the ability to go directly to a specified time.

If you install it from the Android Market, be careful not to download its sibling music player, which is similarly named "MortPlayer".

I was looking for the same thing to listen to podcasts and found Poweramp. It has the feature where if you tap the << or >> buttons it goes to the next track, but if you hold them down it scans through the track in 5 second increment. It does about 4 or 5 increments per second and is pretty easy to go 30 seconds back or forward a bit, which is what I was looking for. I has a free trial period (2 weeks) and if there are no issues I plan to buy it.
