Music Player

Sooo many questions...
K, so when I open my music player (the basic music app that comes on the phone), it ALWAYS opens in "Now Playing" mode. Is there a way I can set it to open on what I choose it to for instance to open listing "Songs" or "Artists"?

Not with the stock player.

man that's what I WANTED my incredible to do, it always opened to the main screen in the music player. the music players on android phones are pretty lame, I ended up getting an ipod touch 4 for my media playing needs.

i have an iTouch too but if my Inc does it all might as well only carry around one thing vs. a few

ehh i think the native android players kinda blow. They're too laggy and there's no setting to keep shuffle always on. That and I couldn't find an FM transmitter that worked very well in my car. For some reason my 15 dollar ipod transmitter kicks ass
