Recently I sold my iPod Touch. Is there an app paid or free that lets me sync to my Nexus 4 to iTunes. After syncing will it group my music as music and podcasts as podcasts. Cause after transferring my library to my phone it all comes up as music.
You didn't say if you're using a PC or Mac, and I don't use iTunes so hopefully somebody who does will give you a better answer, but just in case it helps...
DoubleTwist offers a popular music player app and PC add-on (not Mac) that I think lets you sync iTunes music with Android. I'm not sure about podcasts, videos, playlists, etc.
I don't like iTunes because if its highly restrictive limitations so I use the free software, MediaMonkey for Windows (which is like the desktop iTunes, but much better, IMHO) to sync music, playlists, podcasts, and videos between my PC and Android phone which runs the free MediaMonkey for Android app. Sync can be done over USB or (with the pro version of MediaMonkey app) WiFi. MediaMonkey doesn't offer a Mac version. On a PC, you can import all of your media and playlists from iTunes to MediaMonkey. Following is a link to a detailed explanation of MediaMonkey's total PC-to-Android solution (including MediaMonkey Remote which lets you control your PC from your Android device for music & move playback). http://androidforums.com/android-ap...oid-sync-solution-like-itunes-but-better.html
