Is there a better music player then the stock one... one that can support more file types.

I don't know if any music player supports more file types, but MixZing and 3 (pronounced "cubed") are both pretty good music players. Better interface than the stock one.

Meridian Pioneer and it also supports FLAC.

bTunes. Trust me, its worth it.

To be fair it is mainly an ipod interface rip. But as far as usability goes I think its the best. And I want my music on the go (if that's an expression anyone still uses)
