Help Music plays on phone after leaving car

I have the Ford Sync system in my car and often connect my phone to it using bluetooth. Sometimes but not all the time after I shut the car off get out of the car and start walking my phone starts playing music. I figured it had to do with the bluetooth but even after I shut the bluetooth off the music keeps playing. I look in task manager and no programs are open to turn off so i dont know where the music is coming from. Is the bluetooth connecting to something besides my car? The only way I can get it to stop is to turn the phone off.
