So I was searching around in teh market looking at different memory managers and tested a couple and found something that seems to kinda work! I ran across this app called Auto Memory Manager by Mad Squirrel that does NOT require root and is free. I installed it and messed around with some of the thresholds a bit and got slightly various results so I just went for broke and set aggressive and went into Winamp and listened to my music for a little bit and after about an hour I heard maybe 1 pop. I tried clearing my cache while the music was running which usually resulted in about 20 seconds of horrible pops and this time not a single one.
I got like 1 or 2 pops when I texted someone, but that was it and I messed around with a few other apps with pretty good results. I'm gonna give it a few days, but maybe a few wanna try it and see if it works and let us know here. It might turn to be a bum lead and I'm smoking crack, but it might turn out to work. It can always be uninstalled right?
It kinda looks very similar to Supercharger and it basically changes your OOM settings which I believe is the same basic concept of the Supercharger but does not require root access.
