Help Music problems & microSD card

Hi all,

I'm having problem syncing music onto my phone. I have tried HTC Sync but find that to skip songs inexplicably. I've also tried putting music on it as a disk drive but for some reason after a certain amount of songs are put on it stops being able to see the songs and they are stored invisibly. This means they take up storage but I can't see them on my computer or on my phone. I recently got a Kingston 32gb MicroSD card off ebay in its packaging. Anyone with similar issues/solutions?

Do you have root access for you HTC? If you do you phone could be storing the songs directly to the root and you would never get to them throught basic file explorer or commands with stock setting. If your not rooted then my best suggestion would be to mount you phone /sd and create new folder where you can then move them around with your basic file manager that away you will know where they are from the start and move them as you please. Hope this helps

You could have a dodgy card. Try it in a card reader and put 30+GB onto it and then see if you can read it all back/see it all. Bet you can only see 2GB or so if it's dodgy ....

I have the same problem. You will find the files in LOST.DIR on the sd card. It seems something decides it doesn't like these files as music tracks and moves them. What it is that's deciding this I would like to know.
